Meditation: Be Here, Now
In a nutshell, the meditation technique shared by Jeremy involves pressing the thumb and forefinger together, focusing on sensation. Acknowledging your surroundings by saying out loud your current street, city, country, hemisphere, planet while visualizing yourself zooming out and then zooming in again.
Known as spatial referencing, this technique interrupts thought patterns, reducing anxiety and perfectionism, and fostering self-awareness and mindfulness.

Practice Self-Compassion
It’s crucial to first recognize the destructive impact that perfectionism may have had on your life. Then, consciously decide to treat yourself with the kindness and forgiveness you would offer a good friend.

When you feel like a failure and your inner critic brings you down, ask yourself: If my friend was in the exact same situation, what would I tell them? Would I be that harsh?
